Deployment Day #45

It seems like yesterday you were just here hanging out with us before you had to leave again. The internet connection you have and the time difference is killing me. I really hate it and I feel like I can so easily lose touch with you and I do not want that to happen. We need to try and talk every day before so much time passes between hearing from each other that we don't even realize it. Here are some pics from your visit home. We went out to breakfast this morning with my mom

We went out and bought Ella's Soccer Outfit, I cannot wait for her to start!

 Then we got presents from  your Grandma!!! You have to record these when you come home this weekend, Ella already loves them!

Today is a video day!

Your Grandma sent Ella & I Valentine's day cards <3 I let Ella open them, she was so happy.

Then we went to the Valentine's Dinner and Dance at church with my mom, she was working it for her Kino Tuition

Deployment Day #33

*sigh, I am sad and upset and tired.

I am behind on so much work, I have no motivation and we still have not received your W-2.

The girls are doing really well, Ella is in to books a lot more and she is learning how to write. Elisa is good, she is chunking up more! The church is having their valentine dinner fundraiser, remember when we went last year? I was pregnant with Elisa <3 Anyway my mom has to volunteer and help since it is raising funds for her school. I really can't wait for you to come visit, Ella misses you so much. Whenever we go somewhere we are going in "Daddy's Car" and whenever she eats candy she has to "save some for Daddy" or "I am going to share with Daddy when he comes home" We went to costco today and I wanted to take pictures but the camera was dead. Its charged now so when we go to the park tomorrow I will get lots of pics of the kids.

Deployment Day #29

So we went to bed promptly at 8pm last night, I was exhausted and the babies were exhausted, it was an exhausting day! We had fun, went and spent time with Adrian and Monique, we ate a lot of tacos. Ella had a great time with all the kids that were there. She played tag and on the tree swing which she fell off a million times but what a trooper, she never once cried or got upset. Ella was pretty calm and quiet too, she fell asleep nursing towards the end and when she woke up we left. My mom found a house! She put her offer in and now we shall see what happens. She saw a lot too. I miss you. I hate only being able to see you on Skype, its so impersonal. But I also don't really feel like you are "gone" because we get to see you at the end of the month for a little bit so it is more like you just left for an extended training. Elisa had woken up like 6 times already tonight. BRB!

Deployment Day #26

My mom went to a conference all day and left us home alone. :( So we went to the Post Office, out to breakfast and to the park. There was a party at the park and they shared cupcakes with Ella, she had so much fun playing with all the kids, made tons of friends. Then I went and got my hair done. Shampoo, Cut & Style for $25

We went to church and stayed for the spagetti dinner aftterwards. I was not dressed like the above pics LOL
When we got home Ella and I had a dance party in the garage. DON'T BE ALARMED the car was not running

Ella starts soccer and gymnastics next month, she is not old enough for the dance stuff yet, unfortunetly you have to be 3 when the class starts for ballet/jazz and she doesn't turn 3 until the second class but gymnastics and soccer start 2 weeks later making her eligible. They wouldn't make an exception. booo.

And that was our day, Happy Super Bowl tomorrow. We are going to go visit Adrian.

Deployment Day #25

O.M.W. Tonight was an adventure. So I scored an awesome deal on diapers on CL and drove an hour away to Anthem (Daisy Mountain Exit) with the babies and my mom. I get to the Circle K we agreed to meet at and I call and call and text the lady. 40 minutes later I get a text back "you have the wrong number" I cry. I'm pissed and I'm cold. The babies are cranky, it is now 8pm. I left the house at 5:40. I start driving home. I called Adrian and exited at Happy Valley to get some food. He checks my email for me and re reads me the number. I wrote down 5702 instead of 5072. I cry some more. I call the lady back and at first she sounded annoyed and then empathetic about my silly mistake. She still met with me and I got my diapers. *sigh*

We have new neighbors again across the street, the house was rented. Also the neighbors where you heard the guy mistreating his wife is now empty they moved out the day before yesterday.

Nothing else is new, and you are silly, why would I make the theme of Ella's birthday "missing daddy", that is depressing. I am going with gnomes and fairies ;)

Well I am exhausted after that little road trip and ready to go to bed. Pics tomorrow my love, I hate that I haven't been able to skype you :(

Deployment Day #24

In today's news......

I wrote a short personal essay/memoir type exaggerated non fiction story that I am going to submit in a writers contest, lets see how that goes.....

My mom has still not found a house more details on that privately....

The babies are doing as good as ever! They keep me from breaking down and wallowing in my loneliness. I cannot wait to see you again. It will be "the best ever" as Ella says.

Deployment Day #22

AHHHH Frustration. I got in to a mommy war on FB, I should have stayed away!!! Anyway so last night I didn't get to blog because Ella woke up crying. I think she had a bad dream. Also my mom heard the ghosts the other morning too. She thought it was Ella walking around but Ella was still sleeping. I feel kinda scared writing about it because my mom is not home yet from school but whatever. So I contacted Espy at the County and we should have your W-2 within the week. Lets hope for big money LOL although it most likely won't be which is supposed to be a good thing because then that means we were able to use our money throughout the year rather then give the government an interest free loan but such is life. I calculated our debt and we will be able to pay it all off by the end of the year. Bringing our total monthly expenses to only $916 a month. Mortgage payment and all. Not including food and gas though. I am going to try and stick with CL and Thrift it up for the girls' clothing too. A penny saved is a penny earned, right? Not fun though lol.
