Deployment Day #6

SOOOO EXCITED YOU ARE ABLE TO COME HOME FOR A WEEK BEFORE YOU LEAVE INDIANA FOR KOSOVO!!!

Can you tell I am happy?

Even though its not until the end of Feb, the girls will be so happy to see their Daddy again.

For the record Ella still thinks you are visiting your Mom in Chicago.

We had nothing in the mail today and I am getting super antsy to file our taxes. The girls and I just wasted time today, played Moon Dough and it is now all gone. The vacuum ate it lol. I didn't snap the girls today because it was a lazy day and we all looked like we were homeless. Pics tomorrow :) My mom asked if I was going to go to church either today or tomorrow and I responded with, "Neither." Did not go over so well. More details on that later.

Well off to eat dinner, bathe the girls and put them to bed.

I love you.

Deployment Day #5 Amendment

I just wanted to add........

I would like to finish my undergraduate degree at Northwestern and move to Skokie when you return from your second deployment.... looks like that would be 2014..... We should be able to sell the house by that point and have a decent savings from your second tour. Sound like a plan?

Deployment Day #5

January 14.

Payday!! Time to play catch up and back to reality. I am so happy we are going to be back on track again. You have to let me know if they are going to let you guys come home for a week before you leave Indiana to Kosovo, we would love to see you and kiss you. Today was uneventful besides seeing that nice little deposit in the checking. I can budget again!!!

My mom took the girls to the park for a couple hours so I could get some work done. We ate leftovers, Ella watched reruns of the Sing Off a took a dozen pictures of the T.V. for Daddy, she is a mini photog.

Deployment Day #4

January 13

My sister came over today, I made us breakfast, cleaned up the house and we went to Wal Mart. I really hate that place but Amber needed some last minute stuff to put together her roommates baby shower gift. And, wah wah wah, still no W-2.

Cutie Patooties

Blooper!

For the record Cutco did a wonderful job successfully slicing off the tip of my finger along with part of my nail. It is nice of them to prove their worth every once in awhile.

Ella cried more then I did, poor girl :(

Are you jealous we are wearing skirts and tees in the middle of winter?

Getting ready to go
I had to post to the discussion forum online today for my class and there is this guy who I swear knows every colloquialism ever said. Every time he posts something he ends it with a colloquialism. His posts stand out like a sore thumb because our instructor specifically says in the guidelines to AVOID THE USE of colloquialisms. My posts continue to be marked substantive, thank you very much :) You have to read these though, I have had to google some, they are hilarious!

Ok my love, I love you and I miss you. Skype me soon.

Deployment Day #3

January 12

We heard the ghost again last night! At first I thought it was Ella who needed to go to the bathroom again so I ran upstairs and both girls were soundly sleeping. Then when my mom came home she heard three loud thuds. She thought it was me and that I had woken up but when she checked, all of us were asleep. I thought we got rid of it!!!!

Oh and the feral cats in the neighborhood are in heat, scared the heck out of me! They sound TERRRRIBLE!!

Anyway on to the rest of the day..... The girls this morning, I swear I don't keep Little E in her exersaucer all the time, It's the only way to get a good pic without laying her on the ground!

Ella after she got all dolled up. She chose her shoes.

Erika and Tre came over and we took my mom out to see houses, here is Erika and K K!

Here is Me! Your Lovely Wife ;)

and here I am again with the baby

and again LOL

Ella getting todays mail. No W-2 :(

Ella and Elisa have video messages for you!

Deployment Day #2

January 11

Today I was reminded again that you are gone. for a long time.

Ella jumped off the lovesac and said, "Daddy!" when my mom walked in coming from church.
When she saw it wasn't you she said, "awww" but was happy enough that Grandma was home.

I am overwhelmed as usual, always biting off more then I can chew, with the unfinished doc/school and still making time to play with the kids is tough. I finished the laundry though and put away all the clothing while they were sleeping so at least the closet is clean :) I was in bed by 10 and still exhausted this morning.

Here is Ella this morning with her crazy bedhead

And of course we had to play Moon Dough

This is Ella yesterday at Target, we went for a quick grocery run

This is Elisa today, can you believe Ella got these shots?

My mom took the kids to the park for an hour, I took the time to notate all of my assignments on a calendar so I can keep track of the due dates. I am still trying to figure out when I can set some time to finish my doc.

We miss you a lot, putting the clothes away in the closet by myself was depressing without you there trying to kiss me :)

Melanie put me in touch with a friend of hers in AZ so I have been chatting with her through email.
Oh and I am down to my last $5, we miscalculated some stuff that had not posted, CAN'T WAIT till the 18th. We'll survive. Still waiting on that W-2 from MC......Capital One sent a letter requesting another copy of your orders so I mailed that.

Ella made Elisa laugh like crazy by raising her arms up and yelling "Touchdown!" It was hilarious. I also baked! Wish you were here to try it!

Elisa smiles every time we play your voice on the Build a Bear

 and Just for Fun

Deployment Day #1

January 10.

The New Year has hardly begun and its going to be one filled with the most change. I miss you already although it still feel surreal and I am expecting you home at 6 o'clock. I think once that hour comes and goes it will start to settle in that you are not here and I have to do this alone.
The past two months seeing you and having you close all day every day spoiled me and I know
we will probably not have another chance like that again until we hit retirement!

Anyway, nothing new happened today other then I have the year end statement from the mortgage and your military W-2 just waiting on the county and I will file.

Here are the girls this morning

I tried explaining to Ella that you were working but she keeps telling me you are visiting your mom again :)
